Delete your account

You can delete your Meowsona account and everything in it at any time. There is no form to fill in and nothing to justify.

From inside the app

Open Settings → Account & backup → Delete account and all data, then confirm. It takes effect immediately.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email support@coocosh.com from the address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account. We do it within 30 days, usually within a few days, and reply when it is done. If you write from a different address we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account first — that check exists to stop someone else deleting your cats.

What is deleted

• your account and the email address attached to it;
• your cat profiles — name, age range, sex and breed;
• your cat photos, including the copies in our file storage;
• your quiz results and personality scores;
• your record of unlocked reports and whether Feline Five+ is active.

Deleting from inside the app also erases everything held on that phone. Nothing is kept in an archive and nothing is retained for analytics — we do not run any.

What deletion does not do

It does not cancel or refund a purchase. One-time report unlocks and the Feline Five+ subscription are held by Google Play, not by us. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions — deleting your Meowsona account will not stop it renewing. Refunds follow Google Play's policy.

Timing

Deletion is immediate and permanent. We cannot restore an account afterwards, so if you only want to stop backing up, sign out in Settings instead — that leaves your cats on your phone and removes nothing.
